In order to accommodate the large variety of formats that come to Film 
Technology, a veritable museum of equipment is needed.  Shown below 
are several of the machines used on a regular basis.   (Click on the thumbnail for a full-sized image)

It is common for older negatives to be shrunken.  This can occur even when the film is in otherwise excellent condition.

In order to print these negatives, equipment with modified sprockets and film paths must be used. 

                                

                
                                                                                                       

         

On occasion, film will be in such poor condition that it only can be printed at a very slow rate.  If not, it will jump out of the printer's guide mechanism.
