It is common for older negatives to be shrunken. This can occur even when the film is in otherwise excellent condition.
In order to print these negatives, equipment with modified sprockets and film paths must be used.
On occasion, film will be in such poor condition that it only
can be printed at a very slow rate. If not, it will jump out of the
printer's guide mechanism.
