Obsolete Tape Transfers
Since the introduction of video tape, the commercial, educational and now the archival community sees something quite different--the proliferation of dozens of videotape formats.
Film Technology has worked with a few dominant videotape formats now considered obsolete. Equipment is no longer readily available to play these formats and conversion to a contemporary format is the only solution to retrieve the images. In addition to the basic transfer, full color correction and noise reduction can be provided.
